1. Who we are

MetaClean is made and sold by SC LEX GLOBAL IT SRL (CUI 39743639, Reg. Com. J2018000908068), a company registered in Romania (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at lex.media@gmail.com or through the contact page.

2. What you buy

A licence to use the MetaClean app on your own computers, for personal or business use. It covers the Mac and Windows versions and every future update of MetaClean, at no extra cost. The price is shown before you pay and is charged once. Taxes may apply depending on where you live.

3. Free trial

You can use every feature free for 3 days before buying. The trial needs an internet connection the first time you open the app.

4. Payment and delivery

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. After payment, your licence key is sent to the email address you used at checkout. If it doesn’t arrive, check your spam folder or contact us and we’ll resend it.

5. Refund policy

If MetaClean isn’t right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase and we’ll refund the full amount, no questions asked. Just contact us with the email address you paid with. Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. When a refund is made, the licence key is deactivated.

This is in addition to any rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.

6. Using MetaClean

MetaClean works on files on your own device. You’re responsible for the files you process and for how you use them, including the rules of the platforms you post to and the law where you live. Please don’t share your licence key publicly or resell it.

7. Updates and support

We keep MetaClean updated as platforms change how they label content, and those updates are free for licence holders. Support is by email through the contact page.

8. Warranty and liability

We work hard to make MetaClean reliable: it cleans a copy of your file, never the original, and checks the result before saving. Even so, the app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can’t be limited by law.

9. Privacy

Your photos and videos never leave your device. How we handle the little data we do receive is explained in our privacy policy.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version shown when you bought applies to your purchase. These terms are governed by Romanian law and EU law. If you’re a consumer in the EU, you can also use the EU online dispute resolution platform or, in Romania, ANPC’s alternative dispute resolution (SAL).
